Bee Mine Valentines Cards

Valentines Cards I created for my niece.

The envelopes were petal envelopes and had each kid's name, the colors were pink and purple for the girls and yellow and orange for the boys.  In the inside they each had a card with the bee hive pattern and a propped up little bee that I created.  The boys had blue cards and the girls had pink or purple depending on the envelopes.

Hope you like them =)

Robot Upgrade Party

This party has such a cute story, I must share.  The "birthday" boy didn't have a 1st birthday party but the family wanted to do something for him regardless of the fact that the "birthday" had passed.  I immediately thought: 1.5 party which led to robot which led to "robot upgrade" instead of "birthday party".
Then the mommy found the robot shirt which led to the color palette.  I love the yellow, black and gray combo, its so crisp and clean.
I loved planning this intimate event.  It was just for close family and friends and it was so much fun.  Hope you enjoy the photos.

This great idea I got from Kara's Party Ideas, makes for such a cute drinking station,
I loved it and so did the little ones.  I was just so happy to find one in yellow!

Hope you enjoyed the photos and your weekend!

Girly Picnic

This lovely picnic was hosted for a gorgeous little girl's 1st birthday.  The mommy wanted something extremely simple (like a picnic) with just enough of a girly flair.  I think it turned out just so sweet. Hope you enjoy the pictures:

The gorgeous Birthday Girl.
The picnic was planned around her lovely ruffled dress, it was so girly we had to have a girly picnic, not just a regular one.  It was cold so she had to wear a sweater underneath but she still looked darling!

 Lovely butterflies everywhere!
The cake table.
In retrospect we should have had a backdrop, now I see why they are so popular, it really does make a difference.  However, we were going for informal, laid back atmosphere so I'm happy with the result (pole and all)
The pretty cake and birthday banner.
(The big brothers had a little fun with the cake early on)
The cupcake stand.
I must say this looked much better in person, all the pictures were taken by me and as you can see I have no real photography skills.

The yummiest chocolate and coconut cupcakes I have ever tasted!
They are from L.A. Sweets if  you live or come visit Miami I totally recommend checking out their cupcakes!

The Birthday Hat
The Birthday Bib
Both handmade by me.
Straw hat for the Birthday Girl decorated by the Mommy.
Chocolate favors.

More favors: picnic blankets for the guests.
Napkins and plates

It was a truly memorable day.  The weather was perfect and the company was great.  It was a very intimate gathering and I am super happy I was able to join them.  I hope you have enjoyed this adorable little picnic.
